Help us put 64 Strike Team Comfort Kits on fire engines throughout Northern California

Since 2020, we’ve donated over 90 kits that contain coolers, portable cook systems, coffee, high-quality dehydrated meals, healthy snacks, headlamps, and more.

These kits retail for $900 but – thanks to the generosity of our corporate partners – we can complete 64 additional kits for just $156 each.

Imagine this…

You’re a volunteer firefighter battling a catastrophic wildfire on the other side of the county.

When your pager buzzed, you kissed your spouse goodbye, raced to the station, and jumped on an engine. That was three days ago.

You’ve been living on protein bars and catnaps ever since and now your strength is waning – but your neighbors’ homes are burning, so you forge on.

Now consider what a nutritious meal, a hot cup of coffee, and a cold drink would do for your spirit.

We did. It’s called a Strike Team Comfort Kit and we’ve distributed them to fire departments through Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino Counties.

We equip our volunteer firefighters with the basics – so they can do the extraordinary

In some ways, it’s a small gesture. But when the stakes are this high and conditions this rough, we believe you can’t put a price on morale.

During the 2020 Glass Fire, Two Rock volunteer firefighter Justin Cook (pictured to the left) was a member of a mostly-volunteer Sonoma County task force that spent two weeks out on the line. Each morning, he tucked into his Strike Team Comfort Kit to prepare coffee for his crewmates, earning him the nickname The Barista.

These kits were created with the generous support of corporate partners like Williams Sonoma and Sports Basement and private donors like you.
