Prerequisites: Before enrolling in ICS-300, you must complete ICS-100 and ICS-200 (both available online).

Due to the terms of the FEMA SAFER grant that funded this training, registration is open exclusively to volunteer firefighters who are active members of Sonoma County fire agencies.
After registering, you'll receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite and a follow-up email from your instructor with additional information, including exact times. (All training will take place at the Santa Rosa Fire Training Tower.)
Course Overview
Instructor: Chris Jacobsen (Gold Ridge Fire)
ICS-300 provides an in-depth focus on the NIMS Incident Command System (ICS) that includes the tools, practices, and procedures that are available in ICS to effectively manage emergency incidents or planned local events at a local Type 3 level. Expanding upon ICS-100 and -200, this course ensures that responders understand the basic ICS concepts that allow an incident management organization to expand and contract as needed to fit the incident and maintain its operational effectiveness.
