Thank you for having our backs. Literally can’t send enough kudos.

3 reasons to support us.

  1. In the critical first hours of a catastrophic event, volunteer firefighters in Sonoma County more than double the number of their paid peers on the ground. But unlike paid crews, volunteers are not always sufficiently equipped. Volunteer Fire Foundation is the only local nonprofit in direct contact with volunteer fire chiefs during these major incidents, meeting the needs of their crews in real-time.

  2. Volunteer firefighters save taxpayers money, they save property, and they save lives. But right now many of them are struggling to save themselves. Their minuscule budgets are tighter than ever and recruitment is sinking. Volunteer Fire Foundation was created to be their lighthouse.

  3. Volunteer Fire Foundation is a registered 501(c)3, (EIN 85-2983467) with an all-volunteer team. Our overhead is extremely lean, which means nearly every dollar of your tax-deductible donation goes toward keeping your local volunteer firefighters equipped, safe, and supported.
